James M. –
Sintra is a magical place that seems to come out of a fairy tale, there is probably no place in the world that has so much to see in an area of 5km to 10km.
There are several Palaces, Chalets, exotic gardens and a Castle that surrounds a mountain peak.
This tour was well balanced and has a lot of history, it is a very complete tour with a quieter afternoon and was wonderful enjoying the coast and the huge Atlantic Ocean.
The highlight was visiting the Monserrate Palace and its beautiful romantic-style gardens and having lunch on the coast of Sintra in the small summer villages, the fish is super fresh and the seafood is affordable and of high quality. The guides have great restaurant recommendations.
We loved everything and it was a pleasure to meet this wonderful team.
Thank you so much 😉

Hello James, thank you so much for your feedback! We agree, Sintra is one of the few places in the world with so much to see in such a small area, and we’re happy to hear you liked it. As for the highlights of the tour, Monserrate is a great place to visit, considering its’ beauty and lack of queues to wait on, and we are glad you enjoyed the restaurant recommendations from the guides, we always strive to make lunch one of the highlights of the day, since Portugal has such a great cuisine. We hope to hear from you again on an eventual return to Portugal!
Kind regards.

Feedback from Carolin & Harry Tour to Sintra on thursday 5th of march 2026 :
We had a most interesting Tour with Jose. We found the Villa Biester, not knowing it excisted. It was a wonderful experience to see this lovely preserved house and learned so many things, that Jose explained to us. Also Quinta da Reguilera was full of adventures, hidden doors, deep diving in the fountain, caves and waterfalls. Full of stories about hidden signs, very interesting and still is staying in our minds.
We would recommend this Tour a 100%, it was an absolute Highlight of our stay in Portugal, the Land of the rainbows🫶
