The first destination of this journey is Fátima. The home to one of the most important religious sanctuaries in Europe that annually attracts thousands of pilgrims. Here you will discover the three secrets that our Lady of Fátima revealed to the little shepherds on her apparitions.

Our next destination is the town of Batalha, here we’ll encounter a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Batalha Monastery. This breathtaking monument was built as a gratitude for the Portuguese victory over the Castilians in the Battle of Aljubarrota. Feel the magnitude of its beauty while being transported back to the most iconic battle in our history!

Did someone say giant waves? Well, Nazaré it is!

Arriving at this destination, the first stop is having lunch with a stunning view of the village.

Fish, steak, vegan,  you name it! Our guides will assist you to choose the best restaurant, where you will enjoy traditional Portuguese food while tasting great wine and finishing the meal with delicious pastries.

Now that we have renewed our energies, we will visit the lighthouse and appreciate the remarkable ocean where the biggest waves in the world have been seen. At this location, we find a chapel that represents the most famous legend of this location: the tale of D. Fuas Roupinho’s salvation from falling off the cliff.

On our way back to Lisbon, we visit the village of Óbidos.

Here in this village, you will be transported to medieval times, where you will explore the traditional houses and the castle. The land of the queens, bookstores, and huge festivals! You will be amazed by the surprises you can find at each corner.

And to finish our day, We invite you to try the famous sweet cherry liqueur, ginjinha. It is a traditional drink from Óbidos served in a chocolate cup.

After the literal cherry “on top of the cake”, we hit the road back to Lisbon.
