Our tour of Lisbon begins with a short walk to Rossio Square, an emblematic area of the city. Here we are downtown, where we have a representation of three historical events in the city of Lisbon and the country. It takes us from the Christian reconquest of the city in 1147 to the restoration of independence in 1640 and the devastating earthquake and tsunami of 1755.

After this introduction, it’s time to continue our journey across the Tagus River. Here we will see the splendid statue of Christ the King, who with open arms protects and greets the beautiful city of Lisbon. From this viewpoint, we will have a panoramic view of the capital like nowhere else. So make sure to snatch a picture!

When our memories are filled with unique contemplations and we think that nothing else can surprise us, we head to Lisbon’s most famous neighborhood, or at least one of the most famous. You’ll likely know its name from its iconic tower, or perhaps from the fame of its pastries.

Here in Belém, you’re at the heart of the action – the starting point of epic sea voyages that changed the course of history forever!

To conclude this adventure, we make our way to Sé, Lisbon’s ancient cathedral, before strolling through Alfama and its scenic viewpoints. This lively neighborhood has maintained its unique charm since the 12th century, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich history.
